Sage Announces Launch of BC Ferries Current Conditions

Victoria, BC, October 01, 2004 — Sage is pleased to announce the launch of BC Ferries Current Conditions. This new feature is an initiative to provide better information to BC Ferries customers, so they can plan their trips more effectively. The system produces up-to-the-minute data for all major terminals. Customers can now see how much space is available on each sailing for the current day, view web cams of traffic inside and outside the terminals, see which vessels are assigned to each sailing, view parking availability, make a reservation, and more. This project received tremendous support from BC Ferries staff, customers and media, as it greatly increased the amount of useful information, and decreased the volume of telephone call inquiries on schedules for BC Ferries customer service.
